Elizabeth Bouton Summerer

Elizabeth is an actor/singer/vocal instructor/director and was last seen in NMI’s 15Minute Musicals this past July. Elizabeth majored in vocal performance (Opera) and double minored in English Literature and Theatre at Chapman University. She served on the board of directors for Costa Mesa Civic Playhouse for 4 years and currently serves on the board of directors for the Westchester Playhouse, home of the Kentwood Players in Los Angeles. Other regional credits include the Curtis Theatre 40th anniversary show of “The Mystery of Edwin Drood” as Edwin Drood/Alice Nutting, Diana Goodman in “Next to Normal,” Jeannie Garstecki in “The Great American Trailer Park Musical”, Mrs. Lovett in “Sweeney Todd,” Rona Lisa Peretti in “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” Meredith Parker in “Bat Boy,” Desiree Armfeldt in “A Little Night Music,” Penelope Pennywise in “Urine Town,” Sandra Bloom in “Big Fish,” Inga in “Young Frankenstein,” The Witch in “Into the Woods,” Nancy in “Oliver,” Lucille Frank in “Parade,” Molly Brown in “The Unsinkable Molly Brown,” Annie Oakley in “Annie Get Your Gun,” Reno Sweeney in “Anything Goes,” Gabby/Bobbi in “City of Angels,” Aldonza in “Man of La Mancha,” Julie Jordan in “Carousel,” Sally Bowles in “Cabaret,” Narrator in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat,” The Baker’s Wife in “Into the Woods,” Johanna in “Sweeney Todd,” among many others. She was noted in the LA Times as one of 2007 and 2018 best actors in Orange County for her roles as Desiree Armfeldt and Diana Goodman. She is also the owner and instructor of Inner Voice Studios.
