Bruno Oliver

Actor, Director, Producer. Director Of Operations - Sacred Fools Theater at The Broadwater

Bruno Oliver is an award-winning stage and screen actor who has gone all-in on L.A.’s small theater scene.

 

His artistic home is The Sacred Fools Theater Company (at The Broadwater) where he is the Director of Operations and Peer Engagement. He’s also on the Board of Directors and served as President for 10 years. For the Fools he has  produced The Art Couple, Gifted, Rose and the Rime and A Gulag Mouse. As an actor  he’s performed in many Fools’ productions, including Waiting for Waiting for Godot, Occupation, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, The Coarse Acting Show, Dracula, A Musical Nightmare, Timon of Athens, Serial Killers, Crime Scene and The Box: Los Angeles. Around L.A. he’s also worked with Rogue Machine, New American Theater, I.C.T., Whitefire, Zoo District and all 3 years of the innovative SCI-FEST One-Act Play Festival.

 

He’s a long time Hollywood Fringe Festival veteran having appeared in at least a dozen shows including Bono and the Edge Waiting for Godominos, Lear/Loman, Beautiful Monsterz, and both Night of the Rootbeer and Revenge of the Night of the Rootbeer. He is also helps oversee the entire Broadwater Fringe experience!

 

Outside L.A. he has performed in N.Y., Seattle, Chicago, Edinburgh and with the Utah and Wisconsin Shakespeare Fests. On TV he bounces between comedy (The Office, Modern Family, Party Down, Review, etc.) and drama (Mad Men, Criminal Minds, Castle, House, Scandal etc.).
