JC Thomas
J C Thomas grew up in Washington, DC. There she fell in love with the theatre when she participated in the Text Alive! program offered by the Shakespeare Theatre at The Landsburgh (formerly the Folger Shakespeare Theatre). She then took a class with the theatre and had the opportunity to perform in the ensemble of The Two Gentlemen of Verona, with Paul Winfield and Sabrina LeBeauf.
She received her BA in Theatre Arts from Prairie View A&M Unviversity. Since then she has directed and performed in numerous plays including “Oklahoma!”, “Charlotte’s Web”, “Milkcrates”, and various films including, “Killing The Badge”. J C co-produced the award-winning documentary, “The Rhythm of Blue”, about finding the beauty in healing from depression. She recently completed a short film (as co-producer) called, “Blue Is The Color Of Happiness”, and has another documentary coming down the pipeline.
