Margaret was born and raised in Sacramento, California and subsequently relocated to Ashland, Oregon where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts. During her undergraduate studies Margaret was seen in The Secret Garden (Mary Lennox), Peter and the Starcatcher (Molly Aster; Irene Ryan Award Nominee), Dear Brutus (Margaret Dearth; Irene Ryan Award Nominee), Into the Woods (Little Red Ridinghood), Hay Fever (Sorel Bliss, Irene Ryan Award Nominee) as well as various readings and podcasts with the Ashland New Plays Festival. In addition to acting, Margaret is interested in the intersection of disparate art forms. She culminated her undergraduate studies with an Honors Thesis exploring the impact of epistolary correspondence on personal identity which took the form of a conceptual multimedia arts installment. Margaret also has a passion for language and has lived and worked in Cossonay, Switzerland, Taroudant, Morocco and Bahia de Caraquez, Ecuador. She currently resides in Los Angeles where she works in film production and youth theatre and garden education. In her spare time Margaret enjoys cooking and eating carbohydrates, complaining about traffic, and listening to the soft calming voices of the classical radio station.
