Always Running

Based off of the 1992 memoir of Luis J. Rodriguez, (“Always Running: La Vida Loca: Gang Days in L.A”), the play, Always Running, follows Luis’ life as a teenager as he finds his voice for advocacy during the chicano moratorium. Completely immersed in a world of gangs, drugs, violence, and racism, he ultimately finds his voice through poetry which saves his life and influences him into becoming the man that he is meant to be.
