Fernando Funes
My name is Fernando A. Funes, and I’m the head writer, director, and co-producer of the Latinx Comedy Pachanga, LA’s biggest Latinx sketch comedy group. I’ve been doing improv and sketch comedy for 11 years, and I also teach sketch comedy writing and improv. I’m a graduate of the Pack Theater Sketch Program, Spectacles Improv Engine in Orange County, CA, and of EndGames Improv in San Francisco. I’ve performed in hundreds of shows in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, Oakland, and even Brazil! I’ve been producing improv, sketch, and variety shows for the past two years, and I’m loving it! I’ve created a large network of Latinx artists and allies that I frequently collaborate with. I produce at least one show a month, and sometimes 2-3 depending on what the format is (improv vs. sketch). I love producing shows and creating opportunities for others to shine.
