It's one thing to share at an AA meeting where everyone there knows what you are going through during rough patches. But to get up in front of an audience of strangers and share from the bottom of your soul on the ordeal that is drug addiction is quite another accomplishment Kudos to Crystal Bush for her brutally honest sharing of the trials and tribulations of drug addiction and the strength of character needed to overcome the demons. Solo show directed to perfection by Jessica Lynn Johnson....

Funny but a bit uneven at times. But there were lots of moments that inspired laughter, especially when the Super Hero appeared on his pink tutu for the first time. Be sure to stay for the scenes following the credits....

This totally impressive experience includes 12 audience participants who take on all the roles necessary to portray the band, its fans, manager, roadie, photographer, journalist and others necessary to keep the band popular after murders plaque them. Who is guilty? That's what you need to find out. Clever clues and the chance to perform karaoke with the band highlight the experience. It was a lot of fun!...

As a former Junior High teacher, I can certainly understand the difficulties faced by teenagers who just don’t fit the mold of being “popular.” THE BULLY PROBLEM takes the subject and makes it thoroughly entertaining as well as informative thanks to Shapiro’s entertaining music tracks, the brilliant work by Fringe award-winning director/choreographer Joanna Syiek (The Pokemusical, Giraffenstein, Merely Players), and music director Jennifer Lin, who have put together an extraordinary cast of acto...

Rayn pulls each audience member into her realm where anything is possible and there is no wrong way to be, especially when it comes to your sexuality. And she can really SING. We were totally captivated by her presence and although her total nudity was a bit of a surprise, after awhile the shock wore off and who she is as a free spirit is really what you saw....

Carleton knows that by telling her own story, audience members will hear their own story in her words. This was certainly true for me as I followed her story of growing up with OCD which led her to be a social outcast in school. But it is the journey she shares with us that becomes deeply moving and hilarious at the same time as we follow her through the struggles and triumphs of treatment which lead her to real emotional change and the ability to consider others her "friends." She is a master...

In a lime green wig piled sky-high on top of her head, wearing a bright orange dress and tons of make-up, you know from the very start this skinny-legged drag queen is about to take you for the ride of your life! Accompanied by a rocking 4 piece band led by a conductor who later plays important roles in the show, this was as entertaining and socially-relevant a show as any I saw in Fringe this year. It's a BE WHO YOU ARE message that is delivered LOUD AND PROUD for all to see and hear!...

Daniel Sugimoto's latest play, WHITE PEOPLE DRINKING, is all about those honest conversations during a dinner party with 3 very different couples, each of whom wind up speaking what is really on their minds after the free-flowing drinks loosen their tongues. All the topical taboo scenarios we fear on a silver platter are brought to light in fits of wit and whimsy, often so fast that you may feel your head is spinning trying to catch all the sarcasm as it flies past your ears. Imagine sitting dow...
