Leopold Nunan (he/him)

actor, writer, singer, director, producer

LEOPOLD NUNAN (Leo from Rio) is a Brazilian-born, Los Angeles–based multidisciplinary artist whose work fuses theatre, music, and visual spectacle into bold, immersive experiences. A singer, actor, and creator, Leopold has performed across major cultural stages including LA Pride, Beverly Hills Pride, and Long Beach Pride, and is the recipient of the Music Forward Foundation Award and multiple City of West Hollywood arts grants.

Rooted in the rhythms of Rio de Janeiro and shaped by a global artistic journey, his work bridges bossa nova, house, performance art, and contemporary theatre. Known for creating high-impact solo works and live musical experiences, Leopold transforms the stage into a space of ritual, identity, and celebration.

At the Hollywood Fringe Festival, he brings LEO FROM RIOLATIN ICONS, a one-night-only cabaret that reimagines the legends of Latin music through a seductive, modern lens—where nostalgia meets reinvention, and every note becomes a statement of presence.
