Ms Alaya Lee Walton, 18, born in Brooklyn, NY but her family relocated to Atlanta, GA where Alaya found herself to be a southern girl! However, due to her parents who traveled to different parts of the country, Alaya does not carry a southern accent. She’s an honor student with a goal to become a successful Film Director and writer with a MFA in film with a dual major in Engineering or Broadcast and wants to travel the world… She began her interest in the entertainment industry at the age of 9 and has already been around many interesting people who has made their career in entertainment. She’s blessed in that way… By 10, she had already signed with a SAG affiliate talent agency and got a record deal with a indie label out of Atlanta, GA. Recently, she got her big break in a SAG series to be released 2020 and booked a national wide commercial released 2020. She has been in short films which she is billed and credited on IMDB. Alaya is cast in a Hollywood Fringe Festival stage play “CAMERON!” She is definitely one who doesn’t shy away from what she wants, she challenges herself!
Alaya Lee Walton theatre career has blossomed… She was cast in one of the classic stage plays “A Christmas Carol”, “Women and Wallace”, and recently cast in the understudy role Connie Halpert, her first World Premiere “Tangerine Sunset” Sacred Fools that premieres March 2019!
She recorded her first song “NERDY IT GIRL” at Soul Asylum Studios, the same studio that appears on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta and R&B Divas as well as T.I Family Hustle. She had a great development team [producer Tommy Gunz] who was part of recording artist Mims “This Is Why I’m Hot” project and DAO Music Group, which is now a distribution and publishing company] behind her and started off on the right track!
Alaya had her hands in multi-level sports: Basketball, Track and Field, and Boxing competitively. She competed her first boxing match in 2017 AZ. She’s also a 5’3” model and been doing great on a small scale. At any time, she would be willing to walk the runway at Fashion Shows.
Now that she is all grown up, she’s playing it by her rules. She’s now working with Grammy Nominated producer Travis Cherry in Atlanta, GA and Ms. Kira Fontana in Los Angeles who has co-wrote her first finished single set to release mid-2018.
Alaya aka “Grafiik”, is now a Soulful Pop artist, is working on her first album and is set to release in 2020.
Alaya has added another challenge to her goals which is stand up comedy! She’s been working with the best in the business and is the youngest in her class! One of her classmates was actor/comedian Phil Reeves who appeared on the tv show “GIRLFRIENDS.”
May 2018, she performed her first ever comedy show at the Legendary Hollywood Improv with a standing ovation!
She has since finished writing two songs and will be recorded before 2020, which will be a big year for this songbird!
