Description
This award is for those participants who entered the Hollywood Fringe Festival for the first time this year. This award exists to encourage participation in future awards and to provide successful tools for a successful sophomore season at the Hollywood Fringe Festival the following year.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements for this award are: paid registration to the Hollywood Fringe Festival for the first time in 2014 or presenting a world premiere at the 2014 Hollywood Fringe Festival.
Methodology
A participant will be eligible for this award after a production company provides, in an email, that they are interested in being considered for this award to the Artistic Director Benny Lumpkins Jr.. The participant must then provide a free ticket to their show and the staff of BLJ Productions will then visit their show to judge the overall performance quality of the show.
Reward
A plaque with the participants name etched on it and a $50 prize, a talkback session on how to have a better experience next year.
