Description
The StageCrafts was founded by Jenn and Greg Crafts, longtime producers who have been active in the Hollywood Fringe Festival community since its launch in 2010. Since 2017, The StageCrafts has provided venue management and production support for Los Angeles theater artists, creating accessible, artist-focused spaces for live performance. In 2025, Jenn and Greg expanded that mission by launching the StageCrafts Mini-Festivals. These genre-based mini-fests create year-round performance opportunities with a low financial barrier to entry for emerging and independent artists.
Qualifications
Show subject matter must match the genre of the Mini-Festival they’re applying to and be available to perform during the Festival dates:
MythicFest: Sci-Fi / Fantasy: September 3 – 13, 2026
SpookyFest: Halloween / Horror / Spooky / Family-friendly Halloween: October 22 – Nov 1, 2026
FrostyFest: Winter holidays: December 10 – 20, 2026
SleuthFest: Noir / Mystery / Detective Stories: February 18 – 28, 2027
BardFest: Shakespeare / Shakespeare Inspired: April 22 – May 2, 2027
Once Upon a Stage Family Series: Family friendly shows: Weekend matinees in October – November, 2026 and February – March 2027
Methodology
Shows will be chosen based on how well they fit the genres, commercial viability, and overall collaborative attitude.

Reward
There will be one winner per festival. Applicants must fill out the form to apply.
Winner receives a 3-show door-split performance package at The Hobgoblin Playhouse or The Madnani Theater in the festival of their genre. 50/50 door-split with no up front cost to the artist. Winners will also receive a certificate, award laurels, tech support and inclusion on all Festival marketing.
