Description
Midsummer Scream, the world’s largest Halloween and horror convention, presents the Screamiest to support and encouraged the the creation spooky live scripted entertainment.
Qualifications
The show must feature “spooky” elements that appeal to fans of horror, the supernatural, or Halloween vibes; having moments that provoke the audience to scream in terror are especially encouraged.
Methodology
A committee of pre-screened jurors will rate each show in categories including “spookiness” (tone of the set, story, music, etc.), “scariness” (jump scares, and overall sense of dread while watching), and overall quality and enjoyment.
Reward
The winner will receive a custom trophy, passes to Midsummer Scream, and the potential to perform their show at an upcoming Midsummer Scream.
