Namba Performing Arts Space is a 501c3 black box performance space located in Ventura CA. NAMBA envisions a community where all people can experience and appreciate the value of the performing arts as a historic, educational and cultural art form. We seek shows that make a Splash, awaken our emotions and enlighten our minds. Ventura is a beach town so…Splash;)
Qualifications
Shows must be low tech, story rich; presenter must own rights to their show; shows with cultural significance; triumph over adversity; historic relevance; small cast preferred. Aha moments in cohesive, well-told stories a must. Nominated shows may run Sept 19, 20, 26 & 27 and Oct 3, 4, 10, and 11. Please do not apply if you are not avail on most of these dates. Applications close on June 15. After that time an invitation to apply will be required.

Methodology
NAMBA has a team of community partners that descend upon HFF to adjudicate eligible shows. Top scoring shows are nominated for this coveted award.
Reward
NAMBA provides a one day run with tech and marketing/ticketing support at our downtown Ventura Theatre. We also provide a stipend and an opportunity for a box office ticket split.
