What I liked

The cast – great chemistry and strong responsive performances by everyone of the cast. Their characters came to live and everybody is distinctly different to one another.
The story – Well written and even though some cuts had been made due to time restrictions of the venue, the story comes through in a strong fashion.
The execution – Part of the reason, the script reached me and the audience is due to the great comedic and dramatic timing of the actors.
Strong ending, that leaves you speechless and heartbroken.

What I didn't like

This performance was already on a really high level. It is great to see such a great theater production at fringe.
If I would watch it again, I would love to see a little more bonding between the prof and the medic. Their scene is already on a great level and each actor does a great job on bringing their own words to life, yet this scene stood out to me in particular, as I felt there was some potential left unexplored.
Their monologues were performed with strong intention and conviction, yet I felt like the characters’ words were not fully taken in by each other, prohibiting each other to change each others attitudes and leaving a serious mark on them. If they could just end the scene with me feeling that the prof has against all odds made a true friend, they would perfectly set up the upcoming scene.

My overall impression

Engaging and heartfelt performance that reaches you right in your guts.
It is the second time, I am watching this performance from this particular cast. I really like the script, it hits you right were it needs to and combined with such a well crafted performance by the cast this story really comes alive.
The jokes and comedic moments are precisely and cleverly executed. They land strongly in the audience and therefore achieve to set up an amazing foundation for the drama and the sorrow.
I would love to see more from this cast!
