Especially considering the constraints and speed of Fringe theatre, very well produced by Joquina JoJo Gentil, and beautifully directed by Joe Garcia, beautifully lit by Miles Berman. A classic "Vietnam play" that has been done by several generations of hungry actors, wanting to dig into the most intense type of acting work. Rough around the edges if you're a sensitive audience. The writing asks the actors and the audience to deal with heavy stuff.... full review

What a phenomenal performance from top to bottom, I struggled to find the weakest link throughout the entirety of the play. I Can't praise the talents of the cast enough, coupled with the beautiful precision from one of the best directors I know Joe Garcia. A must see at fringe!... full review

Engaging and heartfelt performance that reaches you right in your guts. It is the second time, I am watching this performance from this particular cast. I really like the script, it hits you right were it needs to and combined with such a well crafted performance by the cast this story really comes alive. The jokes and comedic moments are precisely and cleverly executed. They land strongly in the audience and therefore achieve to set up an amazing foundation for the drama and the sorrow. I would love to see more from this cast!... full review

I was truly blown away by the deeply powerful performances and creative choices of Tracers. I felt so deeply connected to these young men and their stories, knowing that they represent something far greater than just the individual experiences of their characters, but authentically capturing the tragedy of the loss of innocence for these people who served in the Vietnam War. I deeply appreciated the skillful balance of comedy and devastating drama throughout the piece. It was so much fun to watch the characters joking with each other without inhibition, and it made the heavier moments of the play all the more devastating. I thought that the casting was excellent and each actor filled their roles with so much nuance and gravitas, avoiding the... full review

A fierce play that gut punches the audience in the way an exceptional one does! On one side it’s funny — it’s chalk-full of quick-wit and sly comments and physical comedy, but on the other side, the dark horrors of its context reveal that any good humor is informed by deep sadness — there’s this sheer need for it. But we feel, at all times, both sides. ... full review
