What I liked

I enjoyed watching three LA poets present their work in a more theatrical format. The narrative that Sannazzaro created within the text and staging, along with the hard shifts in lighting and the personalities of all three performers really made the show feel important and absurd at once.

What I didn't like

I think it would be nice to have a more solid “final thought”, that said, it was a non-stuffy, but still valuable hour of theatre.

My overall impression

As someone who enjoys poetry and poetry readings, and attending live theatre, I thought "There Is Something Wrong . . . " was fresh and poignant. A.M. Sannazzaro harnessed the writing of Hanna Pachman, Bill Ratner, and Nicelle Davis; weaving a smart, fast, narrative exploring love and death, with laugh out loud moments.
