What I liked

The writing was phenomenal. I loved all the music used and the way Audrey used the entire stage, showing off all their different characters.

My overall impression

Let me start by saying Audrey brings so much magic and talent to the stage it is simply mesmerizing to watch them perform. Vampire NightClub, 1983 is a powerful and passionate piece that flows so beautifully, with every moment keeping you engaged, from its fast-paced and lively nightclub to its isolating and grief filled ending. It is also so refreshing and important to see a queer artist not only share their work on stage but to include this topic in said work. The symbolism and metaphors in which they unraveled for us was one of my favorite parts of the piece, and of a theatre piece in general.
