What I liked

Everything! I loved this contemporary adaptation. The chemistry the actors had was impeccable. The lighting was super cool. It was very well-paced and the director brought out the best in each one of the actors. The usage of the balloons was so creative (no spoilers)!

What I didn't like

There were occasions in which the actors had their backs to the audience and I wished I saw their facial expressions.

My overall impression

wow! Now THAT’S TheAyTer! What a show! Everything about it was brilliant. Meg’s portrayal of Hedda was so brilliant — a character I hated to love and loved to hate. The casting in general was brilliant. If I hadn’t known this was a legit classic and published play, I’d think that this ensemble wrote this show for themselves. Those 90 minutes flew by and I was shook when the play ended — I wanted more! It’s hard to say that there was a standout performance cause each one of the actors DE-LI-VERED. I wanted to say that “there were so many great moments” but literally every moment was great, so I guess it was just a great great show.
