What I enjoyed most is how the game turns familiar platforming ideas into unexpected challenges. Floors can disappear, obstacles can move suddenly, and seemingly safe paths may hide a trap. These surprises make every attempt exciting because you never completely know what is coming next. The controls are also simple and responsive, so when you fail, it usually feels like a challenge to overcome rather than something overly complicated. I also liked the humorous approach to the level design, which gives the game a playful personality even when the difficulty becomes frustrating. Successfully finishing a tricky stage feels especially satisfying because you know you had to learn from your previous attempts.
What I didn't like
The biggest improvement would be making some of the more difficult sections feel slightly more balanced. A few unexpected traps can require repeated attempts before you understand exactly what the game expects you to do, which may become frustrating for some players. More checkpoints, optional hints, or a gradual difficulty system could help newcomers while still keeping the main challenge intact. It would also be nice to see even more creative level mechanics and new types of surprises as the game progresses. Additional customization options, achievements, or extra game modes could give players more reasons to keep coming back after completing the main levels.
My overall impression
level devil – not a troll game is an entertaining platform game that combines simple controls with clever traps, unexpected surprises, and increasingly difficult challenges. At first, the levels may look straightforward, but the game constantly changes the rules and catches you off guard. You need quick reactions, careful movement, and a willingness to try again after every mistake. The unpredictable design makes each level feel different, while the short stages make it easy to play for a few minutes or spend much longer trying to complete everything.
