The acting was excellent. Everyone gave a fantastic performance and I was mesmerized. I had never heard of the play before, and I just loved the ending. The play played with your emotions, between feeling compassionate, yet angry, sympathetic yet wanting John Jr to grow up. You understood how his Mom was dealing with both her son and her soon-to-be president husband, and how Dad was trying to do the right thing for his son, but also wanted to shake the hell out of him. John Jr had quite the lines and he continued to impress the entire show. All of the supporting cast was terrific as well, especially Dad, giving an excellent performance showing his frustration, love, support and disappointment.
