What I liked
Gail uses the physical space and her body, her voice, her tone and rhythm, brilliantly. Through the highs and lows of a battle with cancer and its impact on relationships in her life, it’s a completely absorbing piece of storytelling.

My overall impression
Patient 13 is a powerful, funny, stunningly staged and directed show, performed by the engaging, witty, and at times, very vulnerable Gail Thomas. She pulls us into her story, wins us over, and takes us on an incredible, deeply personal ride, that ultimately tells a story about the importance of connection.
