Clever tactics hooked the audience at the top of the show allowed for the procurement of surprises.
The show was tight and kept a good pace.
A commanding and charismatic ease from Griffith Frank and the angelic vocal talents of Lindsay Gitter, along with beautiful harmonies and a bizarre sound bath, highlighted this performance.
What I didn't like
A fun concept that lacked teeth and heart, the conventional staging did little to elevate. I so dearly wanted to want to join the cult, but this light hearted musical barely scratched the surface.
My overall impression
One strong lead gaslights another in a musical that relies more on cleverness than content.
