What I liked

The actor who portrayed Edgar Allen Poe. He was very animated in his poetic delivery of Poes famous poems such as The Bells and The Raven. The lady being the dance interpreter wearing a huge and beautiful blue shimmering wings costume and the goth band was quite amazing.

What I didn't like

More interplay between the band and Poe during first half and need a bigger space to give room for the dance interpreter to really spread her wings_figuratively and literally.

My overall impression

I really liked the mesh of a living Edgar Allen Poe anacrhonized to todays elements of a goth band who plays Dylan tunes and an interpretive dancer in the mix. Very creative and the name itself POE-tic License is so appropriate! THEATRE ASYLUM JUDGE
