About the Project

Growing up, Kyle never was taught how to be a man. Not having his father in the picture much took a massive toll on his life as a young adult. He knew he needed structure and discipline as he got older but didn’t know how to do that for himself. Always fascinated with the military he decided to join the Army at age 22 and those experiences helped him overcome a life of self doubt, low self esteem and crippling anxiety and depression. He threw himself into the fires of war and quickly gained confidence in himself. But he also grew up a natural comedian and performer. How can he be both those people now? What does that mean for him? And how did those experiences actually shape him into what society deems a man should be?

So follow Kyle on his journey from childhood to warrior to entertainer. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you may end up joining the Army. Who Knows! Find out at this years Hollywood Fringe Festival.
