What I liked
Loved the use of the movie backdrop to help set the stage and further tell the stories. The passion from Elena was evident and really made you think about each character and how you might relate to their story.
What I didn't like
I don’t know if I would say it could be improved – but I wanted to know more about each character since you are so drawn in to each of their plights…
My overall impression
Wow. Just wow. The first one-woman show I have watched and I was in awe! The commitment to each character, the nuanced movements and miming, the ability to make you feel totally present in what the character is feeling – simply amazing!
Elena is a powerhouse when it comes to commanding the stage and making use of the few props she has. It was exciting to watch each character come to life and tell their story with help from the visuals.
