What I liked

The use of silence. Anyone who plays with staging silence knows that it is a tricky beast. Elena, in my opinion, plays with the silence beautifully and it kept me on the edge of my seat, waiting to hear what was coming next. And even though she was the only one on stage, she created this show in a way where only her present character was speaking, I somehow new exactly what the others in her scenes were saying or doing. Beautifully done.

What I didn't like

The miming of the cane… but that’s an extremely picky note from a physical theatre artist… other than that, amazing!

My overall impression

Wow… I was instantly hooked from the very beginning. Elena Rosa is a powerful force on stage. If you want a masterclass in character embodiment, walking the lines of absurdity, and acting overall, this solo show is not to be missed!
