What I liked
It defied expectations (in a bunch of ways… This is a spoiler free review tho) and the performance was engaging, honest and really entertaining. It helps if you know some inside baseball theatre-wise, but there are plenty of jokes that will land with even casual fringe goers. A great premise, solid writing and directing, really well performed. Congrats!
What I didn't like
I mean. I found it to be thoroughly enjoying and relatable. Well done!
My overall impression
What can I say about this show that the other reviewers haven’t already said much more eloquently than I? An incredibly unique solo show with an unusual viewpoint (unless you’re a theatre nerd like myself) performed solidly. A surprisingly honest, heartfelt work.
