My overall impression
This show is big, brave, and beautiful, and Alex is a true powerhouse as a performer! Alex excels at using humor to cut through the trauma, and her full wit is on display here. She is especially powerful in the few small, silent moments that dot her script — her ability to convey so many complex feelings with just the slump of her body is absolutely captivating.
