The focus of the actors from beginning to end. The intentional choices in the writing. The nostalgia of the 90s iconography.
What I didn't like
This is a play that will only get better as performances go on.
My overall impression
A deeply moving, well-crafted glimpse into what it means to be a woman who fails. Laura’s dreams merge with the pressure to meet the impossible demands of womanhood—the necessity to be both graceful and strong, pure and sexual, nurturing and free. This was an honest and heartbreaking story that I did not expect.
