The games she found were continuously surprising. Brilliant recall throughout the show. Unadulterated vulnerability! Deliciously daring and dangerous. Masterful audience involvement. I left feeling like I really saw the performer.
What I didn't like
honestly idk - I’m just excited to see this show after she does her Edinburgh run because I’m sure that it’s going to be even better!
My overall impression
I was so inspired by this, I went home and immediately started beating out new solo show idea. It’s a terrible and clichéd idea that I won’t be doing BUT THAT’S NOTTHEPOINT!!! That point is that this show was so inventive, hilarious, playful, risky, and truthful, that I left NEEDING to get to work!!! I haven’t seen a show that inspired me this much since the first time I saw Courtney Pauroso’s Gutterplum.
