I found many of the inspirations deeply fascinating and well performed. It gave the feeling of a particularly interesting game of classic Fire Emblem. The pacing was also very good.
What I didn't like
Nothing comes to mind. The nature of the piece felt very conversational and competent. Everything I look for in a good fringe show.
My overall impression
A personal epic that gives us a view of grief, artistry and wonder through a universally relatable framework. The performer’s love for literature comes to the forefront, and the moments of self referential nature of the piece made the structure approachable.
