This gave off strong Full Metal Alchemist vibes. I really appreciated the intensity behind Drew's acting / writing, which was further aided by the lighting & sound design. It was incredible and intense. Drew has a way of writing very visceral dialogue that only kept hitting and hitting. It didn't feel like any dialogue was wasted. It all felt palpable and Drew really captured that feeling of desperation well. Overall a really phenomenal play that I highly recommend everyone watch. ...

A challenging, cinematic tour through one man's psyche (heart) as he searches for his lost partner, Sif. Through a series of Vonnegut- and Gilliam-infused jumps in time, space, and reality, Randy experiences his past, possible answers for Sif's disappearance, and a torrent of emotions arriving in the form of clock and dagger espionage, Dungeons and Dragons heroics, and World War battlefields. The intent is there, but it is truly SO cinematic and purposefully disjointed that the jumps in space and character don't always flow. There are some wonderful poetic moments and a truly gorgeous monologue by Sif, but while the small space definitely gives some claustrophobia to being trapped in his own heart, if you aren't following the words and poetr...
