What I liked
Jana has an ability to keep us, as the audience, engaged & laughing and then, in one moment, has us all almost in tears. She takes big risks and shows us how to do a one person show.
What I didn't like
I think the staging could be different – if we were at the Red Cat, where I think this play should go next – we as an audience would be closer together. It’s such an intimate show – I’d love to see it in a larger venue.
My overall impression
Outstanding. It’s movement, it’s acting, it’s art. It’s very personal… it’s a quiet play – I had to lean in and really listen & be available & was very very moved.
It was smart & well constructed as a play – and the music was well crafted as well.
