I loved the use of multimedia in the show. The recorded television moments, voiceover, and home movies of the performer made for a dynamic solo show that colored the world of the piece and kept the piece moving seamlessly. The show was structured in a smart way that clearly points to Ava’s comedic sensibilities. It can’t be stated enough though that the biggest selling point to this show is Ava’s capabilities as a performer. There is no doubt that she has a grasp on comedy, but she manages to juxtapose truly vulnerable moments that feel relatable to I think anyone watching, without ever losing sight of being an entertaining piece of theatre.

My overall impression
Ava Bunn is a fearless performer. She toes the line between absurd comedy and introspective vulnerability with absolute ease and shares her authentic self with every one in the house. I walked away feeling like I learned a little more about who this performer is; an incredibly bold, hilarious, and thoughtful artist.
