What I liked

I appreciated the nuanced portrayals of the characters. The plot twist with the introduction of Rona was brilliantly executed. It not only added an element of surprise but also elevated the narrative, offering a critique on toxic masculinity and societal double standards.

What I didn't like

Some of the scenes felt paced a bit repetitively, especially in scenes between Wendy and John.

My overall impression

“Two Weeks” is a provocative exploration of the complexities of relationships, addressing themes of trust, isolation, and suspicion with a deft touch. The tension within the narrative was almost palpable and consistently sustained throughout the play. The performance was elevated by the remarkable acting skills of the cast, particularly Verity Van Dams Valdez, who dominated the stage with her performance, as well as her chemistry with Austin Valdez. The introduction of Shannon Gibbs as Rona took the narrative in an unexpected yet thrilling direction, revealing layers of depth in the story.
