What I liked
The intimacy of the show and theatre size. The smell of the coffee. The rollercoaster dynamic.
What I didn't like
I honestly think they killed it.
My overall impression
From the start, the actors felt so in their element that it took a minute to realize they were in fact acting. Emily and David both have such an easy, conversational flow to them, making it impossible to look away. They created the atmosphere, engaging many senses including smell – with real coffee brewing as we entered the theatre. Their chemistry radiated through the theatre and kept us spellbound. The range portrayed through pain, anger, sadness, nostalgia, play, and even humor kept us wondering what the outcome of their situation would be. 10/10 would recommend
