What I liked
I loved how straight forward it was, and how Brendan was still so excited to share his story with all of us (he has been performing this show for a long time). Solo show is not a style that usually draws me in; just personal preference, nothing against the genre or anything; but I forgot that preference because I was too busy going on Brendan’s journey with him.
What I didn't like
Honestly, Brendan’s storytelling style is so honest and genuine to him, that I loved it all! Only note: write another one!
My overall impression
Brendan’s show is a perfect encapsulation if Brendan as a person: warm, vulnerable, unpredictable, and life affirming. Brendan is a rare performer who you feel that you see his soul deeply when you watch him, and who shows you that with courage and positivity.
