The Movement You Need (a work in progress)

What I liked

I was humbled by The Beatles trivia quiz during pre-show.

What I didn't like

Tech could’ve been tighter but that would be fixed with a non-Fringe tech timetable.

My overall impression

This was such a beautiful piece. The Beatles as a familiar connection is all too common, but Brendan’s unique perspective leads to a wonderful story about the complicated love between parent and child.

I was fortunate to see this during Previews with a warm audience, so Brendan was taking some real chances in feeling out the structure of the show. I cannot wait to see what it will look like as a fully produced performance.
