What I liked
Fringe God Pamela Quinn Eberhardt (WIGFIELD, THE RUNAWAY CLONE, 13th GRADE) tackles online influencers and romances and the results are funny and musical. A snapping good cast of Meghan Allison, Emily Clark, Jeff Scot Carey and Scott Golden help her slog through the dreaded days after a breakup with good humor and a lot of song. Lucas Alifano directs with wit and verve.
What I didn't like
The Broadwater Studio has swiped out its theater seats for banquet chairs. While it allows a larger audience into the space, it’s very crowded with a full house and leaves patrons with little to no room to get comfortable or even move in their seats.
My overall impression
If you loved Eberhardt’s previous Fringe shows, you won’t be disappointed being UNDER THE INFLUENCE.
