The sound and lighting design was unexpectedly spectacular, lifting Hailey’s incredible solo work. The show takes off at an incredible pace but there are soft, vulnerable moments that punch you in the gut harder than you anticipate. These hills and valleys strike the perfect balance and the show just flew by.
What I didn't like
Not a note for Hailey, but would be helpful if the Broadwater could soundproof a bit better :)
My overall impression
This show is incredibly powerful, heartbreaking and yet also hilarious. Hailey is a FORCE. “Iphigenia” is both political and so personal, and Hailey keeps you riveted throughout with her energy, emotion and heart.
