What I liked

Everything! The acting, the lighting, the sound, the pace, the story, I also think green is Haley’s color.

What I didn't like

there was recurring “barking” sounds throughout the show at very weird moments. I thought it was an interesting choice and I couldn’t decipher what it meant. I then found out that it’s a the sound the pipes make when someone flushes the toilet by the studio. This has obviously nothing to do with a performance itself but since it does take place at that venue it did distract me a little bit.

My overall impression

So powerful! Haley is a powerhouse full of charm, charisma, and emotion. I was on the edge of my seat from the beginning to the very end, and I enjoyed the moments of humor in which I burst into laughter. It was so beautifully directed with creative lighting choices and sound design that really enhance the extraordinary acting. It was also extremely well paced, and did not feel like an hour. I love town, and this adaptation took a Greek tragedy and made it fresh and timely.
