What I liked

We come to expect phenomenal direction from Rosie Glen-Lambert and this is no exception. Though more subtle than her typical extravagant style, she skillfully creates clear moments that keep the story moving at a brisk and digestible pace without doing so much that we are distracted from the absolute brilliance of Hailey’s acting. Also remarkable is the masterful sound design from Padra Crisafulli which helps to transport you into this world without banging you over the head. But back to the star of the show, Hailey Mcafee. I could watch this character for days. The amount detail just in the welsh accent (a very difficult accent to pull off) is enough to listen to her speak. Her subtlety, boldness, and heart are all off the charts.

What I didn't like

More people in the audience. Seriously, go see this show. In a sea of one person shows that is the fringe festival this one truly stands out.

My overall impression

This is a DO NOT MISS show. I usually don’t enjoy one-person shows because of how much combined skill it takes for one person to hold an audience for an hour… but this one is special. Don’t be intimidated by the title, No knowledge of greek myths required, though it might give you something more to chew on.
