What I liked

I loved the songs in this show! I’m not always a fan of musicals but the songs were integrated perfectly, really helped to illustrate the characters and covered a span of styles in a way that gave me Bo Burnham vibes! I was so impressed. I also liked the creative use of lighting changes to switch between characters.

What I didn't like

I occasionally got confused with which character was speaking, but this was mostly due to my lack of knowledge about certain astrology terms!

My overall impression

This show was funny, charming and moving! The different characters Emma embodies helped to tell her story and she blended creative storytelling, song and humor in a really wonderful way. Emma was vulnerable with the audience and brought us into her journey of self-acceptance, and afterwards I was left feeling more grace towards the various sides of myself too. I also laughed out loud, and I had a couple of the songs stuck in my head for days afterwards!
