What I liked

The songs were so vulnerable, tender, and articulate about emotions!!! Each one was powerfully human and arrived at the perfect time in the show to emphasize the story Laser was telling. Also, his comedic timing was so excellent, sometimes at the exact same time I was tearing up I was also laughing. Amazing!

What I didn't like

I really don’t know what I would change. I felt as an audience member like I was in great hands. I wished it was longer just so I could keep experiencing it!

My overall impression

This show took me so deftly through so many emotions and did it with style. I literally both laughed and cried. What a wonderful way to experience some fascinating trans history, Laser’s personal journey, and, of course, JK Rowling’s problem with holes. A Shark Ate My Penis was an amazing time.
