What I liked

I loved the usage of the overhead projector and the interaction between Laser and JKR. And how well all the historical stories related to his own story was just amazing. I could easily see this show again and have now recommended it to everyone.

What I didn't like

Nothing! Just please get extended so we can all enjoy your show a second time.

My overall impression

From the moment the show began, I was smiling. Laser has brought to the Fringe one of the most unique solo show’s we’ve seen. The seamless blend of music numbers, to life moment re-enactments, to interactions with JKR, to projections on the overhead screen are incredible. Laser’s writing is brilliant in this piece that takes us on an educational, sentimental, and extremely vulnerable story. He makes us laugh and cry, and even get a little angry at times at the people that he’s dealt with in his life. His show is accessible to everyone and relateable to everyone. It’s truly a lovely work of art.
The work he has done with this piece, through the guidance of his director is just phenomenal. And it is a very strong contender for Top of the Fringe.
