What I liked
Rainee not only sounds like Joni, she looks like her right down to her bare feet below a flowing dress. An accomplished musician on three instruments, and offering a bit of self-conscious gab between songs, this show made for a perfect “relax and float down stream” hour of entertainment.
What I didn't like
A few more songs would have been nice!
My overall impression
Rainee Blake’s portrayal of Joni Mitchell was amazing in its authenticity and offered a quiet respite from the craziness that is Fringe. It was like stepping back in time, entering a small club on the Sunset Strip below Laurel Canyon where Joni called home. A totally relaxing way to enjoy a drink and experience what the folk singers of the 60s were really like.
