What I liked
The connection— love, respect, and joy— between the storyteller and subject was undeniable. The pacing and tone felt apropos for the southern backyard setting and I appreciated the use of real vocal recordings from interviews with the writer’s Grandmother.
What I didn't like
Wish the stories were longer and there were more of them!
My overall impression
A sweet, personal, moving tale of intergenerational connection told through puppetry and storytelling.
