My overall impression

I truly commend this production for being completely honest and brave at every step of the performance. As a therapist myself I know how difficult it is to talk about mental health in such a vulnerable way, exposing the deepest and most personal struggles that we experience in the mind. It’s so tempting to keep these struggles inside for no one to ever know about them, but as this show beautifully articulates, the pain usually stays within us for a long time until we finally release it. I highly recommend this production for everyone because the reality of the human experiences that we will all likely experience deep internal distress at some point in our life and it’s critical that we are able to be open and honest with our suffering. This production is deeply inspiring for this effort and I truly feel that everyone in the audience left the theater with this inspiration coursing through their bones. In addition to being educational and informative, there were many brilliant uses of theatricality that served the production in a beautiful way. Ty made excellent use of strong vocal choices in addition to some incredibly gorgeous moments of movement and dance. I wish Ty the best with this show, and I know that it will continue to grace the stage and inspire others.
