What I liked
As a fellow ‘gander (Troll), the cultural references induced nostalgia.
The fireplace was a nice touch on the scenic front.
What I didn't like
I wish the connection between the sisters (and the space – they built their cabin, why does it feel like this is their first time in it?) was stronger. The writing felt like an improv scene with one-upping games instead of a constructed piece where the text serves the story. There’s heart here somewhere and I desperately want Heidi and Heather to find it.
My overall impression
Humor sprinkles throughout this Yooper Sister story.
