What I liked
Alan is a polished performer and writer. You’ll get a well paced and welcoming energy from him as he takes you on his journey. There’s a lot of big laughs and clever jokes throughout the show, all rooted in the sweetness that comes with sexual discoveries. I found myself reconnecting with young weird memories in the best way.
What I didn't like
Would be interesting to see if future versions of the show could experiment with theatrical elements like lighting. Not that he needs it. It’s good as is!
My overall impression
Alan Starzinski’s Slutboy is a refreshing male perspective on modern sexuality. From the title I wasn’t expecting such a sensitive and relatable journey into childhood experiences as Alan delivered, and you won’t be disappointed. He takes the spicier topics and makes them universal and thoughtful.
